DLGA Silport sets the highest standard of criteria for selection of its coaches.
To join our team, first of all you must become a certified PGA Coach having passed strict exams in Teaching, Sports Science, Rules and Ettiquette, Equipment technology, Psychology, Diet and Nutrition aswell as reaching PGA playing skills.
Then upon successful completion of a strict interview process, each coach undergoes a rigorous one year training program under the supervision of the academy Director. Upon completion of this one year, the instructor is sent to Champions Gate in Orlando – the home of David Leadbetter Golf Academy where he/she undergoes further training under the supervision of David himself.
Furthermore each week, the Director spends time with each coach, whereby he observes their students progress and offers advice on how best to develop the players skills.
DLGA Instructors combine a “holistic” approach to the game, whereby they consider the following factors when offering advice:
Technical
Physical
Mental
Tactical
Equipment
Each of these factors plays a big part in influencing your performance.
This professional system ensures that you receive the highest possible level of Golf instruction available and are able to enjoy your golf to your fullest potential.
